Episode #44: This week on the podcast I am so excited to be joined by Dr. Desiré Taylor. Desiré is a Clinical Health Psychologist who specializes in working with individuals who are navigating chronic and serious illnesses and sleep disorders.
Desiré attended college and completed her doctoral training at the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her psychology internship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, and her post-doctoral fellowship at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. For the past several years, Desire has worked in hospital and outpatient medical settings. In the last year, she began the process of building her own private practice and recently stepped into full-time private practice work.
I loved this conversation, we talk about the benefits of therapy, how therapy can help people experiencing a chronic illness, and how we can go about finding a therapist. I know this conversation will be very helpful for so many people.
